Billed as X-men meets Spy Kids, The Forgotten Five: The Invisible Spy delivers. If you haven’t already, now is the time to start this series. My review of book one The Forgotten Five: Map of Flames is here… https://ivyartz.com/mgreviews/mgreviewspost.php?permalink=map-of-flames-the-forgotten-5-book-1

My biggest complaint about Map of Flames was I wanted more. Lisa McMann’s characters are beautifully written, complicated, adventurous and they do not disappoint in this sequel.

The Invisible Spy dives back into the danger the children face in Estero as they search for their parents and evade President Fuerte, a man who outlawed supernaturals.

With their new allies, The Librarian and Lada, the Five undertake training and espionage to locate their supernatural criminal parents—can they trust any of them? I don’t want to give away any spoilers. I’ll leave you with the fact that many questions about the parents are answered and there is a big twist at the end. Start the series now so you’ll be ready when book 3 arrives.
