Fall is the time to gather leaves, gourds, and acorns. It’s also a great time to read this tale with your preschooler. Because of an Acorn, a tree grows, and a whole ecosystem develops. This story is beautifully illustrated by Frann Preston-Gannon. The book has been out for a few years, and should be in every school library by now. A great read for the season.
