Journey is the first book in Aaron Becker's wordless trilogy. These books are lovely flights of imagination and adventure. I have yet to show one of these wordless books to a child and have that child remain wordless. The beautiful illustrations inspire a multitude of thoughts, questions, and ideas to pursue.

The sequels are Quest and Return. By the third adventure the girl is followed by her father. Is it imaginary? You choose. These stories are definitely captivating and convey an important message.

Recommended for 3 to 6 years, but many older children enjoy them, too.
