Time for a little fun. Since fantasy and gaming conventions are meeting in person again (masked, but in person) and since they have become huge family events, I thought it was time to throw in a review of these little gems.

Counting books and alphabet books can be pretty boring so whenever I find ones with a new twist that are well done, I’m all in. Caleb Cleveland’s illustration are colorful, fun, and adventurous. Ivan Van Norman has captured the fun and imagination of role-playing games. Any child would enjoy these, but if you have a big geek, or a little geek in your family—or if your family loves role playing games and board games—these books are for you!
